We feature many outstanding, award winning local Texas wines, such as from Texas Hills Vineyard, and others, available by the glass and bottle. The Friendly Bar Bistro serves some of the most esteemed wines in the region.

Johnson City now proudly has an upscale wine bar in a relaxed setting that is a great stop after going to the art galleries or an afternoon or evening out on the town.

Yes, it is still even the best place to stop and have a "cold one" for visitors and the rallies through Hill Country. We have specialty draft beers and bottled beers from around the nation and world. One of our favorites is a "local" beer, an amber bock, from Blanco Brewing Company a few miles down the road.

We are part of the renaissance of downtown Johnson City, on the Courthouse square and nearby, that is coming alive with art galleries, shops, and now a special place to relax and share your favorite drinks with your favorite people at The Friendly Bar Bistro.
